Ideal Candidate: will have over 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a preference for those who are skilled in complex litigation with an emphasis on property casualty.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex litigation matters in insurance defense.
  • Manage general liability cases in property casualty, premise liability, and various damages claims.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management and partners.
  • Quality research and analytical skill, with a proficiency in writing and composition.

Required Skills:

  • Specializes in civil litigation on the defense side.
  • Experience in insurance defense caseload, particularly premise liability, product liability, property casualty.
  • Proficiency in complex litigation, dealing with numerous parties with differing interests, needs, and vantage points.
  • Juris Doctorate in Law with licensure in the state of Florida in good standing.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Experience in aviation industry.
  • Pedigree from a top 25% law school.
  • Existing and transportable book of business.
  • Multi-lingual.

Main Practice Areas:

Aviation, transportation, appellate, labor and employment, and other complex litigation.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $130,000 - $160,000.
  • Bonus: 1920 billable expectation, with additional bonuses over 160 per month.
  • 100% paid insurance, 4% contributing 401K, $40 for dental.
  • Long-term disability lifetime coverage.
