Job Summary

Helix Electric is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our employees and management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Onboarding: Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, process employee status changes, and reconcile data entry into our HRIS system.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, PTO, and employee perks.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management practices and assessments to support employee growth and development.
  • Employee Communications: Establish and maintain regular employee communications to keep our team informed and engaged.
  • General HR Administration: Provide general HR support, including coordinating HR-related items and maintaining compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or Specialist.
  • Certifications: Professional in Human Resources Certification preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems, with experience planning, organizing, and administering HR programs or initiatives.
