Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with our Service Manager to plan effective work and travel schedules, prioritizing customer needs and considering machine location and part availability.
  • Provide tools and parts, and arrange for facilities to perform repair work on customer premises.
  • Report to the Service Manager on customer information, machine descriptions, malfunction details, working time, driving time, waiting time, mileage, and other relevant data for accurate accounting and billing.
  • Perform preventative maintenance services on generators, including engine fluid changes, filter replacements, inspections of AC and DC systems, belts, hoses, exhaust systems, and other components.
  • Conduct load bank testing and automatic transfer switch testing.
  • Ensure accurate filing of paperwork and checklists related to each inspection.
  • Participate in company-sponsored vocational training, annual departmental meetings, and technical literature reading to enhance technical skills.
  • Maintain a professional image by keeping the service truck clean, polished, and organized.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of generator systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Location: Fort Worth, TX
