About the Job

The EEG Technologist II role is a critical position in our diagnostic imaging team at Neuro Pathway LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for gathering diagnostic data from specific neurological examinations for physician interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality neurodiagnostic testing in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Obtain pertinent patient history from patient/parent/caregiver/chart.
  • Apply electrodes (probe) in proper positions, check the integrity of the application, and calibrate as necessary.
  • Record EEG data with standard montages for either adult/pediatric/neonatal as appropriately determined.
  • Recognize artifacts and troubleshoot to eliminate artifacts.
  • Document any changes in patient condition/events while recording EEG data.
  • Participate in departmental activities to improve/maintain patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in company initiatives as appropriate.
Requirements
  • High school education 1-2 years formal EEG training or experience.
  • Eligible to sit in EEG board exam.
