The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons during procedures, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating room for each procedure, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Assist surgeons during procedures, including passing instruments and supplies.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient environment, including cleaning and disinfecting the operating room.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, including communicating with patients and families.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
  • 2 years of experience in a Surgical Technologist position.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced knowledge and skill of aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:

The Surgical Technologist Level II will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to blood and body fluids. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull with 30 pounds of force.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
