Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Agua Caliente Casinos. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our guests, team members, and all assets of Tribal Facilities. This is a critical role that requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform security checks of buildings and surrounding Tribal Lands
  • Monitor traffic and maintain access control to restricted areas
  • Check-in and check-out guests, vendors, visitors, and team members
  • Perform first aid and CPR as required
  • Work with local police, fire, or emergency medical teams as necessary
  • Accept and secure found property, keys, badges, and tags
  • Remove individuals from Tribal property when directed by a Tribal Council Member, Administrative Director, Security Manager, or other executive officer
  • Keep key records and issue keys
  • Complete security incident reports for injured visitors, vendors, or team members
  • Monitor and record activity via CCTV
  • Enter data into the Daily Dispatch Activity Log
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Law Enforcement, Security, or Military preferred
  • Valid CA driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Prior experience observing surveillance cameras
  • Experience writing incident reports
  • Current Guard Card with a combined 40 hours per BSIS or 832 PC college classes preferred
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
  • Required to obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in radio, telephone communications, and dispatch
  • Prior patrol experience preferred
  • Knowledge of x-ray scanner, magnetometer, and hand-held wand
Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties indoor and outdoor during events, including walking up to 1 1⁄2 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. The individual may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. The individual must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry goods weighing a minimum of 25lbs. on an intermittent basis and have sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment, including a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment, and multi-line telephone.
