Job Summary

As a Loss Prevention Officer at Marriott Hotels, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees. This part-time position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents
  • Handle all interruptions and complaints in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No related work experience required, but previous experience in a security or law enforcement role is preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
