Job Summary

HealthDirect is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for accurately entering medication orders for various facilities, ensuring timely and efficient processing of claims, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter medication orders for various facilities with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Process Third-Party claims in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to assigned facilities, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate patient and facility information, ensuring up-to-date records and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform billing and crediting tasks for each facility, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments
  • Meet production targets and maintain a high level of productivity, as determined by supervisor
  • May be required to travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges
  • Assist in orienting and training new employees, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and development
  • Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 3-6 months experience as a pharmacy technician; hospital, long-term care, or retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
  • Registered with the State of Vermont or New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician, as required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Broad knowledge of medications and physician orders, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures
