Key Responsibilities- Process prescriptions throughout the lifecycle, including order entry, third-party adjudication, filling, and sale.
- Maintain the highest patient experience standards by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing.
- Operationalize regulatory compliance by adhering to applicable federal and state regulations, external accrediting authorities, and expert governing bodies.
- Support all technical aspects of specialty pharmacy services, including compounding, compliance packing, meds to beds, vaccinations, and delivery.
- Champion clinical and operational initiatives by partnering with pharmacists and key stakeholders to drive strategic growth and development, program integrity, financial viability, and optimal patient outcomes.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 1500 hours of pharmacy technician work experience in the immediate preceding 3-year timeframe.
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician work experience.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Wisconsin.
This role is based in a climate-controlled office setting with daily movement throughout the hospital campus. You will be required to move freely and lift up to a maximum of 25 pounds without assistance.
This role is exposed to blood-borne pathogens, sharp objects, and hazardous materials. You will be required to use computers throughout the workday and perform repetitive motions with your hands, wrists, and fingers.
