Key Responsibilities- Process medication orders in a timely manner to progress patient care plans.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and ThedaCare policies, both personally and among team members.
- Prepare pharmaceutical products accurately, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
- Document patient medication histories and other relevant information in compliance with organizational, state, and federal regulations.
- Respond to patient queries and direct them to pharmacists for clarification on drug information and interactions.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification (CPhT) and registration with the State of Wisconsin required.
- Ability to move freely and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
This role is based in a climate-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments. Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock may also be present.
