Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Assistant/CNA to join our team at Northern Light Inland Hospital's Walk-In Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

About the Job:
This is a PRN position with flexible hours, offering an excellent opportunity for those seeking a dynamic and challenging career in healthcare. You will work closely with our Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners to provide basic direct patient care duties, including secretarial and registration tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with wound care, EKGs, vital signs, lab specimen collection, and transportation of patients
  • Facilitating patient flow through the Walk-In Care department
  • Cleaning patient rooms between patients to ensure readiness
  • Performing daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Assisting with stocking and ordering supplies
In addition to your clinical skills, you will also be expected to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED), as well as a Certified Nursing Assistant certification. You must also be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases. Our ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. We also require strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
