About the Position

This is a variable shift position, with alternating day, evening, night, and weekend schedules. You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide direct and indirect patient care, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver direct patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, and changing linens
- Communicate and interact with patients and families, physicians, peers, and other healthcare members to maximize successful customer outcomes and optimize unit function
- Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and document all aspects of patient care in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures and communicate important information and patient needs to oncoming staff at change of shift and to RNs for follow-up

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) and be certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. A competitive salary range of $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience, is offered by Northern Light Health.
