Fleet Maintenance Manager Job Summary:
As a critical member of the City of Fremont’s team, the Fleet Maintenance Manager oversees the management and maintenance of the city’s fleet of vehicles. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily maintenance operations, including vehicle inspections, repairs, and schedules.
- Lead a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support for efficient operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate fleet operations with city services effectively.
The selection process may include individual or panel interviews, professional reference checks, fingerprint check for criminal history, pre-employment medical exam, and other related components. The estimated salary range for this position is approximately $65,000-$85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
