Job Summary

Zentech Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements and support production operations. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with experienced engineers to develop and refine manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance to production teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve technical issues.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to establish manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain production documentation, including process flow routings and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing costs and defects.
  • Perform root cause analysis and support quality initiatives to drive corrective actions.
  • Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews and implement engineering change orders (ECOs) as required.
  • Communicate effectively with production teams, ensuring seamless integration of new products and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Experience in engineering support within a manufacturing operation, with hands-on knowledge of electro-mechanical manufacturing and assembly equipment.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 documentation systems and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to read and understand electronics industry standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing documentation systems.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform tasks that require regular reaching and lifting.
