Job Summary:
CommonSpirit Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography and diagnostic scans designated anatomical areas in accordance with established practices and procedures. You will obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns. Your role will also involve maintaining patient records and files, as well as performing general CT procedures and assisting with CT-guided IVR procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform computed tomography and diagnostic scans designated anatomical areas in accordance with established practices and procedures.
  • Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns.
  • Maintain patient records and files.
  • Perform general CT procedures and assist with CT-guided IVR procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Comply with National Patient Safety goals and support and report any identified compliance matters.
  • Participate in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional development and education for technical competency.
  • Use standard precautions and PPE at all times.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and licensure for current position.
  • Attend all required educational programs and Learn modules.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation and monitoring of the department and utilize resources efficiently.
  • Demonstrate complete working knowledge of equipment within assigned area.
  • Knowledge and performance of the Code of Conduct Standards.

Qualifications:
Required Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Required Licensure and Certification: Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year of employment or transferring into position. State of Kentucky License required. BLS from American Heart Association upon hire. Previous experience in CT preferred but not essential for all positions.
