MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with standards and practice set forth by ARRT and Department Policies and Procedures. The individual in this role is expected to be able to apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.
### Key Responsibilities
- Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with standards and practice set forth by ARRT and Department Policies and Procedures.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of the human structure and functions, patient care, positioning, principles of electromagnetic and computer sciences, magnetic protection, and specialized techniques.
- Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.
### Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Hold a Radiation Operator Certificate from the Kentucky Radiation Operators program.
- Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- MRI registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire date.
- CPR certified/hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
### Preferred Qualifications
- Current MRI registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
