Job Summary:

The Radiology Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging services to assist patients' physicians in expediting necessary care. Key responsibilities include performing or assisting in procedures per department protocols, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and utilizing proper procedures for identifying images, patients, and marking images correctly for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order exams that match the procedures being performed

Requirements:

  • Current ARRT certification
  • Kentucky Radiation Operator's License
  • Basic Life Support certification via AHA within 90 days of hire

Working Conditions:

This position requires regularly lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; working in confined spaces; and occasionally sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions.

This position also involves some risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to radiation, burns, cuts/punctures, blood-borne or airborne pathogens, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative/violent people.

Additional Information:

This position is eligible for an Attraction Bonus of $24,000 with an 18-month commitment and is also eligible for a Recruitment Bonus.
