Job Summary:

The University of Kentucky is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services to patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, providing feedback on image quality, and addressing customer needs with professionalism and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures per department protocols
  • Provide feedback on image quality for improvement
  • Address customer needs appropriately according to age-specific, service-specific, and disease-specific criteria
  • Utilize proper procedure for identifying patients
  • Maintain patient efficiency by spending the most appropriate amount of time for each task and interaction
  • Adhere to the UK behavioral standards during interactions with patients, coworkers, and physicians

Requirements:

  • AS degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Kentucky State Radiation Operators License
  • Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire
  • Computed Tomography (CT) certification within one year of hire date

Physical Requirements:

Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling of objects over 50 lbs.
