Radiology CT Technologist

Job Summary:
The University of Kentucky is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services to patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, providing feedback on image quality, and addressing customer needs with professionalism and courtesy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures per department protocols
- Provide feedback on image quality for improvement
- Address customer needs appropriately according to age-specific, service-specific, and disease-specific criteria
- Utilize proper procedure for identifying patients
- Maintain patient efficiency by spending the most appropriate amount of time for each task and interaction
- Adhere to the UK behavioral standards during interactions with patients, coworkers, and physicians
Requirements:
- AS degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Kentucky State Radiation Operators License
- Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire
- Computed Tomography (CT) certification within one year of hire date
Physical Requirements:
Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling of objects over 50 lbs.
