Job Summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our Emergency Department team. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care under the supervision of a Professional Registered Nurse and/or Physician.
  • Maintain a safe environment and educate patients and their families on their care.
  • Collect information, communicate effectively, and utilize technology to support patient care.
  • Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare services and tasks.
  • Advocate for patients, teach, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
  • Oversight of unlicensed personnel and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia required, National Registry preferred.
  • BLS certification, with ACLS certification or ability to become certified immediately.
