We are seeking a highly skilled Municipal Project Engineer to join our team in Austin or Georgetown, TX. As a key member of our Transportation Team, you will be responsible for leading and assisting in the design and creation of construction documents for municipal roadway and drainage projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and create construction documents for municipal roadway and drainage projects, including typical sections, geometric layouts, drainage and hydraulic analysis, erosion control plans, pedestrian mobility and safety features, maintenance of traffic plans, and water quality plans.
- Lead and assist in the development of proposed roadway elements, ADA/Pedestrian elements, Proposed Roadway Profiles, and Cross Sections.
- Collaborate with subconsultants and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 0 to 2 years of related experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MicroStation (Geopak or InRoads).
- Registered EIT in Texas.
- Experience in municipal design, specifically horizontal and vertical geometrics, roadway drainage design, and storm sewer design.
- Working knowledge of Open Roads or Open Roads Design.
