Job Summary

Raymond James Financial Incorporated is seeking a detail-oriented and creative problem solver to fill the role of Registered Client Service Associate. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for daily interactions with clients, including inquiries, quotes, and meeting scheduling.
  • Provide crucial support to financial advisors and branch office staff, working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Onboard new clients, open new client accounts, and research client and security information using internal databases and technologies.
  • Ensure key client information and documentation are current with firm and industry requirements, rules, and regulations.
  • Process and monitor the transfer of assets, including running cash and cash equivalent reports and contacting clients with investment opportunities.
  • Review, assess, and respond to corporate action items and client account alerts.
  • Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and other materials for client meetings.
  • Input orders and rebalance portfolios on behalf of financial advisors.
  • Create and maintain records and files using Client Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Assist financial advisors with marketing efforts, including seminars and client-facing events.
  • Engage in available training and educational opportunities to remain current on firm and industry policies and procedures.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of company policies, managed account platforms, general office practices, investment concepts, and financial markets. They will also have skills in client relationship management software, goal planning software, and Excel, as well as the ability to operate standard office equipment and software applications.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent and one or more years of securities industry or related work experience are preferred. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by Human Resources may be considered. Licenses and certifications required include the SIE, Series 7, and Series 63, 65, and/or 66 as required by state.
