We are seeking a highly skilled Grants and Contracts Specialist III (Pre and Post-Award) to join our team at the University of Pittsburgh. As a key member of our research administration team, you will be responsible for performing pre- and post-award accounting duties for complex grants and contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, negotiate, and monitor grants, contracts, and budgets
  • Maintain award-related schedules and prepare complex government applications and reports
  • Interpret policy and procedure and monitor account activity
  • Perform internal audits, resolve complex issues, and review routine financial documents
  • Develop and implement accounting techniques and procedures for operational improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 2 years of experience in grants and contracts administration
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
