WSP Global Inc. is seeking a skilled Remediation Engineer to support our operations in California. This role requires expertise in consulting, managing, designing, and executing Environmental Multi-media Remediation programs across various sectors including Industrial, Government, Energy, Oil & Gas, and Transportation. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic candidate eager to contribute to the growth of our environmental consulting services in the region.
Your Contributions
As a key player, you will:
- Drive business development initiatives within the Oil & Gas and Industrial/Commercial sectors focused on environmental remediation and engineering services.
- Lead design efforts, providing oversight and mentorship to project-level engineers and staff.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and proposals to meet client needs.
- Collaborate effectively with Office Managers, Sector Leads, and senior personnel to ensure project success.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to deliverables, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Travel as necessary to fulfill project objectives and support business development efforts.
- Achieve sales, revenue, and project delivery targets.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in environmental remediation and sales.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with remediation projects involving regulatory bodies.
- The capability to mentor and guide engineers and technicians.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and programs.
- Experience in consulting on petroleum contamination cleanups and chlorinated solvent remediation.
- Knowledge of soil gas and vapor intrusion issues.
- Experience in managing complex engineering design projects.
- Proficiency in overseeing construction and maintenance of environmental projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional credentials that would be advantageous include:
- A Master’s degree in Engineering.
- A California Professional Engineers License.
- PMP Certification.
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER).
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $140,000-$185,000, based on the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.
