Cybersecurity Coordinator

**Job Summary:**
The Statewide Cybersecurity Coordinator is a critical role designed to enhance cybersecurity coordination and outreach across local governments and statewide partners. This position will focus on creating and maintaining a consistent approach to cybersecurity awareness, readiness, and best practices at various government levels and affiliated organizations throughout the state.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and plans to address vulnerabilities and improve cybersecurity posture.
- Collaborate with local governments and statewide partners to share best practices and resources for cybersecurity.
- Provide training and support to local governments and other entities to enhance their cybersecurity capabilities.
- Manage and coordinate cybersecurity projects and initiatives to ensure effective implementation and outcomes.
**Requirements:**
- 3-5 years of experience in roles involving strategic planning, project management, or coordination of large-scale initiatives, ideally with a focus on cybersecurity or public sector projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable, and candidates with certifications will be given preference.
