Cybersecurity Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Coordinator to join our team at GTT, LLC. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in enhancing cybersecurity coordination and outreach across local governments in Maine.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver educational materials, workshops, and programs to increase cybersecurity awareness and readiness among local governments.
- Coordinate statewide cybersecurity efforts, ensuring alignment and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Promote the adoption of cybersecurity best practices and leverage resources like the SLCGP.
- Identify cybersecurity resource gaps in local governments and propose strategic improvements.
- Lead strategic planning and foster collaborative relationships with federal partners, state agencies, local governments, and community groups.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in strategic planning, project management, or cybersecurity-focused initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are preferred.
- Federal Programs: Experience with federal programs related to cybersecurity is beneficial.
- Cybersecurity Expertise: Understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and threats.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity plans.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive statewide initiatives.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving cybersecurity challenges.
