TalentBurst, an Inc 5000 company, is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Coordinator to enhance cybersecurity coordination and outreach across local governments and statewide partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver educational materials, workshops, and outreach programs tailored to different levels of cybersecurity understanding and readiness.
  • Coordinate statewide cybersecurity efforts, ensuring alignment and collaboration among all stakeholders to achieve common cybersecurity goals.
  • Advocate for and promote the adoption of cybersecurity best practices across local governments and organizations, leveraging resources such as the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP).
  • Identify gaps in cybersecurity resources among local governments and propose strategic changes to enhance their cybersecurity posture.
  • Lead strategic planning and foster collaborative relationships with federal partners, state agencies, local governments, industry associations, and community groups to develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity outreach strategy.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in roles involving strategic planning, project management, or coordination of large-scale initiatives, ideally with a focus on cybersecurity or public sector projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable, and candidates with certifications will be given preference.
