Position Summary:
Ampliform is currently seeking a Lead Financial Analyst who is a proactive and motivated individual to become a vital part of our expanding team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Controller to enhance our accounting, taxation, budgeting, and financial reporting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial management for various entities, funds, and project portfolios, including financial reporting and cash flow management during construction phases (billing, invoicing, vendor payments, etc.).
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.
- Manage monthly journal entries and schedules for multiple entities.
- Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including consolidation for multiple entities.
- Maintain and update our accounting software.
- Research and interpret technical accounting literature.
- Contribute to the development, refinement, and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate in creating internal processes, metrics, and business decision-making as part of a dynamic team.
- Explore opportunities to engage in other areas of the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a staff or public accounting role.
- Experience with Big 4 firms and/or CPA certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Sage (or similar accounting software) is advantageous.
- Advanced skills in Excel are essential.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to quickly learn new tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a significant workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Deadline-oriented with a meticulous approach to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the renewable or solar energy sector is a plus.
