About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert tax guidance and support to our clients, helping them navigate complex tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique tax needs and goals
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring clients receive the best possible advice
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective tax strategies
  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets, driving business growth and client retention
Requirements
  • 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual tax returns and tax planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
  • Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
