Business Development Representative

Job Summary:
This is a full-time position that offers a hybrid work environment with great work-life balance, competitive hourly pay, and incentives. The business hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with no weekends and paid Holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to UniFirst's sales team by calling prospective customers and scheduling appointments for them to meet with a UniFirst Sales Representative.
- Make high-volume outbound phone calls to clearly communicate thorough knowledge of UniFirst products to potential customers.
- Place a minimum number of business-to-business calls per day to prospective customers and set a minimum number of appointments per day for the Outside Sales Representatives.
- Qualify the prospect to determine if the potential customer meets UniFirst's new business requirements.
- Create an excellent first impression and build a quick phone rapport with key individuals as you probe for pain points and growth opportunities.
- Schedule qualified appointments for the Sales Team and send emails to the Sales Representative once the appointment has been scheduled.
Requirements:
- Prior phone sales, telemarketing, or appointment setting experience is preferred.
- CRM software experience is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities is essential.
- Mastery of Multi-Line Phones and all types of Office Equipment is necessary.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment is required.
- Experience using office productivity software tools like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook is necessary.
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
