The Ultra Assurance function is dedicated to ensuring the effectiveness and adherence to Ultra's Quality Policy, which mandates full compliance with all relevant regulatory and customer specifications. We maintain a robust Quality Management System, collaborating with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure that products and processes meet applicable standards, while continuously monitoring and enhancing the incidence and costs of quality non-conformances, all while upholding the highest standards of manufacturing productivity and efficiency.
Nationality Requirements
Candidates must be eligible to obtain the necessary security clearance for this role, given the sensitive nature of the programs we support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct receiving inspections.
- Execute relevant transactions in internal systems.
- Perform in-process inspections as necessary.
- Carry out Final QA Audits of products as required.
- Utilize hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Maintain records of receiving inspections.
- Retrieve prints from files or electronic databases.
- Interpret prints for part measurements.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Shipping/Receiving departments.
- Be flexible with scheduling, including availability for weekends and overtime as needed.
- Be prepared to undertake additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or QA inspection and testing.
- This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person eligible for any necessary Export Authorization.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches, and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Position requires significant sitting and/or standing, along with good eye-hand coordination.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
- Ability to read small text and handwriting.
- Manual dexterity is essential for performing repetitive tasks.
- Frequent standing is required.
- Ability to visually inspect parts and documents.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
