Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary

The Rockhill Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and modifying aircraft structures, structural components, and engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and evaluate maintenance of aircraft components
  • Apply technical knowledge of airframe and powerplant systems to diagnose equipment malfunctions
  • Apply technical knowledge expertise to troubleshoot and restore equipment condition and operation
  • Provide guidance in aircraft repair and technical inspection according to directives, technical manuals, work standards, and operational policies
  • Contribute input to development and implementation of quality control and ground safety programs and ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Must be able to work without supervision, lead small groups independently, and provide written and oral briefings and updates to program leadership
  • Perform other qualified duties as required
Requirements
  • Demonstrated proven and verifiable aviation experience, including ethics, ability, and professionalism of the highest standards
  • Five years verifiable Turbine Powered Rotary Wing (RW) experience
  • Two years verifiable experience as an inspector performing Technical Inspector Duties
  • Recent verifiable UH-60 Quality Control experience
  • Must possess a FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • A U.S. Government SECRET Security Clearance is required
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Must currently have or be capable of completing a criminal background check to access military installations and to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and written
  • Must have a valid driver's license/vehicle insurance to drive on base
  • A broad level of knowledge of aircraft maintenance, inspection techniques, FAA regulations, and technical publications
  • Ability to multi-task and employ problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take the initiative in problem-solving and achieve organizational goals with minimal oversight
