Job Summary

American Health Associates Inc is seeking a skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in various long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients in accordance with established phlebotomy procedures.
  • Properly identify patients and ensure accurate labeling and transportation of specimens.
  • Work cooperatively with dispatch, payroll, laboratory, and courier departments.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and prioritize patient and staff safety.
  • Understand and adhere to resident rights, patient care, and patient's right to refuse.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and accurately maintain time sheet records.
  • Maintain all equipment in good working order and report problems to supervisor.
  • Complete and timely submit written logs, time sheets, and other required records.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy work experience required.
  • Valid state-issued Driver License; must be at least 21 years old.
  • Clean driving record for last 5-years; own reliable transportation, must provide proof of required auto insurance coverage.
  • Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care.
  • Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited training school or equivalent, preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing requirements must be successfully completed prior to working on our Home Draw team.
