Job Description

As an Administrative Specialist III, you will play a vital role in coordinating office activities, researching and preparing special reports, and developing administrative policies and procedures. You will assist in developing or revising policies, procedures, and directives based on research findings, and submit them to your supervisor for approval. You will also compile financial information used by your supervisor to formulate budget proposals and monitor expenditures to ensure optimum operating efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong research and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to have knowledge of mathematics and statistics, computers and software applications, and be able to prepare, present, and review oral and written information and reports. A high school diploma and three years of experience in a specialized or related field are required. Additional education and/or experience may be substituted upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee.
