Larkin Community Hospital – Palm Springs Campus is seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an ICU RN, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to critically ill patients, monitoring their conditions closely, and administering intensive treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assess critically ill patients in the ICU, including those recovering from surgery, trauma, or severe illnesses.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and interpret patients' vital signs and telemetry data, recognizing and reporting any changes promptly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols.
- Active Florida RN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Proven experience in ICU/Critical Care setting or similar acute care setting strongly preferred
- Strong Clinical Assessment and Critical Thinking Skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) Preferred
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or similar certification highly desirable
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) Preferred
