Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Steward Health Care. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients with life-threatening illnesses, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age-appropriate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver advanced professional and technical nursing care to critically ill patients
  • Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Perform nursing techniques to promote patient comfort and well-being
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to maintain high-quality care
  • Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments and examinations
  • Supervise and instruct nursing assistants to provide care to multiple patients
Requirements
  • Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent physical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Previous critical care experience and knowledge of EKG interpretation and interventions
