Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engineering diagnostics related to engine performance, including problem analysis, engineering calculations, and effective communication of solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain diagnostic tools and analytical frameworks for test cells.
- Monitor trends in engine test cell operations and overall engine performance.
- Analyze engine vibration issues using advanced diagnostic techniques.
- Oversee test cell correlation activities and data reduction methodologies for engine performance.
- Provide engineering support to service center networks.
- Develop guidelines for establishing engine build criteria.
- Act as a liaison between business units and central engineering regarding test cell facility needs and specifications.
- Serve as the primary contact with original equipment manufacturers for the exchange of strategic engineering data.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports to document insights related to relevant technologies.
- Coordinate efforts with the Central Performance Engineering team.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
- Execute special projects as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience demonstrating continuous professional development.
- Ability to interpret and understand technical blueprints.
- Familiarity with measurement instruments.
- Strong skills in planning, organization, analysis, leadership, interpersonal communication, decision-making, and both oral and written communication.
- Proficient in data analysis and querying techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent experience.
