Job Title: Loss Prevention Specialist
About the Role:
As a Loss Prevention Specialist at Buc-ee's, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our assets and ensuring adherence to internal control procedures and regulatory requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough store inspections and supervise assigned employees to prevent losses and damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular store inspections to identify and report any irregularities or potential security risks.
- Supervise assigned employees to ensure they are following internal control procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a conflict resolution agent to resolve customer disputes in a professional and efficient manner.
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting buildings and equipment.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Control traffic by directing drivers and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous retail, customer service, law enforcement, and/or loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Must be a licensed Peace Officer.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to adapt and perform other duties as business needs require.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night.
- Ability to maintain regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks.
- Ability to interact professionally with other team members.
