Key Responsibilities

We seek dedicated individuals who will embody the principles of the Select Medical Way, which emphasizes patient-centered care, enhancing community quality of life, fostering continuous improvement, delivering high-quality services, and adhering to ethical practices.

Your role will involve assisting in the provision of Physical Therapy services, including but not limited to:

  • Executing treatment objectives, strategies, and programs as directed by the Physical Therapist (PT).
  • Supporting the PT in implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at achieving patients' long-term goals, such as posture training, strength building, endurance training, balance and coordination exercises, joint mobility, pain management, and skills for daily living.
  • Instructing patients in mobility techniques using assistive devices like orthotics, prosthetics, canes, crutches, walkers, and wheelchairs.
  • Demonstrating safety protocols and proper techniques for patient assistance.
  • Managing and guiding patients in the use of prescribed therapeutic equipment.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient needs, ensuring that each individual feels acknowledged and valued. A commitment to delivering high-quality care is essential, along with the ability to think creatively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • A valid state PTA license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the start date.
