Key Responsibilities

We seek dedicated individuals who will exemplify the Select Medical Way, which emphasizes patient-first approaches, enhancing community quality of life, continuous personal and professional development, delivering high-quality care, and adhering to ethical practices.

Your role will involve both direct and indirect support in delivering Physical Therapy services, including:

  • Executing treatment objectives, plans, and programs as directed by the Physical Therapist (PT).
  • Assisting the PT with therapeutic interventions aimed at achieving patients' long-term goals, such as posture training, strength building, endurance training, balance and coordination exercises, joint mobility, pain management, and functional skills training.
  • Guiding patients in mobility using orthotic devices, prosthetics, or assistive tools like canes, crutches, walkers, and wheelchairs.
  • Demonstrating safety protocols and proper techniques for patient support.
  • Managing the ordering and instruction of prescribed therapeutic equipment.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of patient needs, ensuring each individual feels informed, understood, and valued. A commitment to delivering superior care is essential, along with a creative approach to problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • A valid state PTA license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the start date.
