Oncology Nurse Specialist

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team at Southwestern Medical Center. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support the latest advancements in cancer treatment.
Job OverviewThis position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing, with expertise in chemotherapy administration, vascular access device management, and peripheral IV starts. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care and support to patients undergoing treatment.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage related side effects
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current RN license in Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ONS chemotherapy-biotherapy provider card
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
