Institution Overview:
Position Title: Adjunct, Lifetime Fitness Center, Academic Affairs

Employment Type: Adjunct Faculty, Exempt

Work Schedule: Flexible hours, varies per week

Compensation: Competitive pay based on relevant experience.

Position Overview: As an adjunct faculty member in the Lifetime Fitness Center, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Guiding patrons on the correct usage of fitness equipment
- Instructing suitable workout routines for individuals
- Ensuring the safety and engagement of all users within the fitness center
- Observing and addressing any medical concerns of patrons
- Fulfilling special requests for assessments from patrons within the scope of the Lifetime Fitness Center
- Supervising the fitness center monitors at the check-in desk
- Overseeing cleanliness and sanitation practices

Essential Qualifications:
  • Current CPR/AED Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree or an HLC Approved Personal Training Certification.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks as necessary.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Health or Wellness or HLC Approved Certifications (details available upon request).
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a Fitness Center or Health Club setting.
