Reports to: Head Fitness Instructor/Activity Manager

Salary: Up to £900 PCM gross + Shared accommodation + flights, meals + great overall package

Position Overview

This role represents the advanced level within our Fitness Team. To qualify, candidates must possess a valid First Aid certificate along with the following credentials:

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor.
  • Level 3 Personal Training.
  • Exercise to Music and/or Qualified Yoga Teacher/Instructor - RYT 200-hour.

Experience in group instruction and a high level of personal fitness are crucial, as you will regularly lead running sessions and multiple classes each day.

In this role, you will be stationed at one of our stunning beach resorts, where you will implement a diverse weekly fitness program that is engaging, safe, and tailored to meet the needs of our guests.

Your role will involve interacting with a wide range of individuals at different fitness levels, allowing you to motivate and broaden your personal fitness expertise. You will design your sessions based on the available facilities and equipment, utilizing your skills and knowledge effectively.

We prefer candidates who can commit for the full season. However, we will consider those with shorter availability, prioritizing those with the most suitable qualifications.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional fitness coaching aligned with the Neilson program.
  • Design and implement sessions suitable for varying experience levels for both adults and children.
  • Prepare lesson plans that include warm-ups and cool-downs.
  • Conduct group classes and personal training sessions effectively.
  • Promote the fitness program to enhance participation.
  • Maintain and monitor fitness supplies.
  • Assist in training new instructors to ensure they meet the Neilson standards.
  • Adhere to the highest health and safety standards.
  • Provide guidance on the safe use of fitness equipment.
  • Ensure the fitness areas meet guest expectations.
  • Organize social events and briefings.
  • Be adaptable to work across different resorts as needed.
  • Provide excellent airport transfer services to guests.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant fitness qualifications as outlined above.
  • Understanding of current fitness trends.
  • Knowledge of physiology and anatomy.
  • Proficient in fitness equipment usage and safety protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Flexible to work the required hours with the team.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and informative instruction.
  • Fluent in English, both conversationally and in instruction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
