This role is responsible for managing and supporting the professional staff organization at Cook Children's Medical Center. The successful candidate will oversee the approval processes, manage functional committees, and provide information flow to the Governing Board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a resource for professional staff governance documents and information.
• Manage the approval processes and provide information flow to the Governing Board.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, but years of experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years working in a medical staff office.
• Proficiency with computers and medical staff database required.
• Ability to deal tactfully with physicians and hospital staff and to maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters.
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Professional Medical Staff Manager (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or qualifications to take examination(s) preferred.
