KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Lead Program Coordinator who demonstrates strong initiative, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will work alongside a team dedicated to exploring innovative partnerships with unconventional external entities to facilitate collaborative applied research and development. The dynamic engagement models allow for interaction with experts who can provide valuable insights into emerging and disruptive technologies relevant to Government challenges. The team is involved in multidisciplinary scientific and technological research, development, and testing aimed at addressing new mission challenges while enhancing existing solutions.
This position presents a distinctive opportunity to delve into emerging technology sectors, foster collaborations with field experts, and navigate various mission elements within the Sponsor's organization. The program is an innovative initiative with visibility from senior leadership, supporting the broader Customer organization. The selected individual will provide programmatic support for the structure and governance of this initiative and will be part of a vibrant team of specialists. The candidate will engage with a diverse range of personnel to ensure the successful advancement of critical program activities.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct name traces and equity assessments on potential team performers utilizing various Customer tools.
- Coordinate and resolve conflicts with mission center elements and field locations to ensure operational continuity.
- Draft and manage communication to inform Customer stakeholders and both domestic and international partners regarding performers and activities.
- Prepare executive briefing documents for leadership.
- Document meeting minutes and track action items from all team discussions.
- Submit access requests for all team members.
- Provide constructive feedback to the team and enhance process design based on practical experience.
- Offer direct support to management and assist with additional tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience; Master's Degree with 12 years; or PhD/JD with 9 years of experience.
- Proven experience in delivering comprehensive program integration support with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative, organizational capabilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Customer systems, workflows, and mission elements, including program activities, budget management, and personnel onboarding/access.
- Strong understanding of the Customer's cable system, including the new electronic version, along with drafting, coordinating, and tracking communications.
- Knowledge of the Customer's distributed field presence, operational processes, and relevant record-keeping systems.
- Excellent writing skills, emphasizing clear and direct communication.
- Expertise in collaborating with team members to devise solutions, mitigate risks, and enhance user satisfaction.
- Ability to cultivate effective working relationships with management, peers, academics, and external agencies.
- Proven ability to communicate mission-critical concepts effectively and prioritize tasks based on urgency, effort, and timelines.
- Prior experience with the administrative, counterintelligence, security, and legal governance of outreach efforts.
- Demonstrated skill in resolving conflicts among stakeholders and identifying potential solutions.
- Proactive approach to identifying potential stakeholders and relevant records.
