Position Overview

Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily financial operations, including month-end and year-end activities, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budgeting, and more.
  • Ensure precision and quality in financial transactions and reporting.
  • Enhance business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
  • Lead the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing and reporting discrepancies.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting and compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Utilize Yardi software to optimize accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with senior management on financial strategies and decisions.
  • Engage in significant executive team discussions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of managerial accounting experience, ideally within the real estate sector.
  • Expertise in Yardi software is essential.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP.
  • Knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Adept at working with large datasets.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and attention to detail.
