Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Land Administration team, including managing incoming and outgoing mail, assisting with mineral and royalty owner written communications, and supporting processes and workflows. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and correspondence for the Land Administration department.
  • Provide administrative support to the Land Administration team, including data entry, document scanning, and mail distribution.
  • Assist with preparing and sending correspondence to mineral and royalty owners, including returned checks, inadequate documentation for transfers of ownership and/or direct deposit requests, and due diligence letters for escheat filings.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems, ensuring easy access to key documents.
  • Update information and status of completed tasks in Land Administration workflow software.
  • Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of administrative experience. Previous experience in oil and gas or land administration is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Proficiency with mail merge is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks quickly with a high level of accuracy and prioritize effectively.

Salary: $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Remote or on-site at Magnolia Oil & Gas Operating.
