About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Aide to join our team at St. Croix Hospice. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care, including bathing, nail/skin care, dressing/undressing, dental care, and other personal hygiene services, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Offer positive, respectful, and confidential patient/family communication, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Take and record vital signs, and assist with self-administered medications as needed.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including shopping and feeding patients as required.
  • Assess and report patient conditions and changes to the RN Case Manager.
  • Assist with ambulation, exercise, transfers, positioning, and support a complete range of motion and other therapy activities.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) designation, current with state-specific requirements.
  • Licensed and insured driver with a reliable automobile.
