Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinic Assistant/Physical Therapy Aid to join our team at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. This individual will provide administrative support to our physical therapists, ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the master calendar for physicians
  • Prepare patient charts, including x-rays and lab results, and arrange for special equipment as needed
  • Set up exam rooms, assist with exams, and monitor patient flow
  • Review and code charge slips, develop supporting documentation for insurance claims, and submit claims to carriers
  • Maintain files, records, and equipment inventory, and perform various administrative tasks
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate of completion from a medical assistance program preferred
  • 1 year of experience in a medical office setting, with phlebotomy and EKG skills a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
