Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Ascension. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient examinations and treatments under the supervision of a provider.
  • Perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs and recording patient information.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and maintaining records.
  • Order and stock supplies, and perform basic materials management functions.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Medical Assistant certification prior to hire date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
