Medical Assistant Quality Coordinator

MedStar Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Quality Coordinator to join our team at MedStar Medical Group LLC. As a key member of our quality and safety team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety in our ambulatory practices.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing quality, safety, clinical, and operational projects for ambulatory practice sites
- Provide training and coaching to Medical Assistants on safety, quality, and clinical best practices
- Conduct site audits and surveys to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement quality and safety initiatives across the ambulatory care settings
- Collaborate with physicians, practice managers, and senior team members to address patient care and regulatory compliance issues
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a recognized medical assistant program
- Associate's degree preferred
- 3-4 years CMA/RMA experience with 2 years working in a medical office or ambulatory healthcare environment
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by American Association of Medical Assistants
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
